Hello world!
In today’s world, most people are focus on their health and self help. What this means is people are becoming more self conscious of the things they put in their bodies and the things they put in their mind. In determining what to eat and how to exercise, many are going to nutritionist and joining gyms. I personally recommend taking it back to basics such as the 5 food groups and kickboxing, such an adrenaline rush and gets muscle you didn’t know you had moving. For self help, many people are looking for spiritual fulfillment, lifestyle changes, love and relationship enhancements, financial stability and mental health. I would like to focus on something I am most passionate about, mental health.
Your mood correlates with thoughts you are having throughout the day. You can validate this by your responses to good news, being loved, and being rewarding or appreciated for a job well done. You also can feel your mood change when you are criticized, dismissed or disappointed, or the doctor gives you bad news, your children misbehaves at school. Each of the above situations causes a reaction to display within your person, whether it is short lived or determines the rest of your day. When we think about the mood, emotion or reaction, we channel it throughout our whole being, with little effort. If the reaction, mood or emotion is positive than that is great; but if it is negative then we need to learn to counteract it by intentionally focusing on the mood and turning negative energy into positive. How you say, well a little exercise is all that is needed to push you in the right direction. Find that one thing in your mind that makes you happy and focus on it for at least 3 minutes. Think only about that thing; let your mind wonder to that place and upon that thing. Let your attention really focus on what you appreciate most: your favorite place, special people, and memories that bring you joy. Reflect on them, create a journal, and move yourself toward the things you appreciate most.
